FisherDeBerryFisher Grant Application for FCA Camp

Grant requests must come from:

Single parent households raising at least one child, and must meet the guidelines for financial need. This grant is specifically for low and moderate-income families. Priority will be given to families with a household income under $25,000 (for a family of four) although in special circumstances families with higher income will be considered. There will be a cut off based on the Federal Government guidelines for low income:

  • $24,980 for a family of 2
  • $31,340 for a family of 3
  • $37,700 for a family of 4
  • $44,060 for a family of 5
  • $50,420 for a family of 6

Priority will be given to families not currently receiving funding and those who are most in need. We may not be able to meet all requests. Please do not apply if your family income exceeds the above guidelines.

Western NC Team Football at Lenoir Rhyne session #1
Western NC Team Football at Lenoir Rhyne session #2
SC Team Football at Presbyterian College session #1
SC Team Football at Presbyterian College session #2
SC Team Volleyball at CIU
Team Wrestling Camp at Emmanuel College
Black Mountain Girls Multi Sports Camp – Amount up to $200
Black Mountain Boys Sports Camp
Black Mountain Leadership Camp – Amount up to $200

Application process:

DEADLINE MAY 7, 2020, NO EXCEPTIONS

Feel free to explain any special circumstances regarding your need that may not be evident by completing the form.

Once your application is received, it will be reviewed to determine if you meet the above guidelines. Applications will be processed as they come in. If your application is accepted, payment will be sent directly to the Carolinas Region FCA Camp Office. Since there is a limited amount of money, please apply as soon as you can.

We also request that you send a note of thanks explaining how the funds were helpful to you. These notes are very important for us to let the foundation and donors know how beneficial these funds are to families.     We regret to inform you that due to COVID-19 and the continued concerns with exposure and legal accountability that with advice/wisdom of Board of Trustees, Executive Team, Legal and even our insurance provider, FCA as an organization has made a decision to cancel all overnight camps for the months of May, June, July and August.
