WHAT IS THE CAMP SCHEDULE?
Our Camp schedule can be found on our website by following the link:
WHERE DO I CHECK IN?
You will register your student camper in the lobby of the Dickson Palmer Center on Campus at Wingate University.
Please see the Campus Map on our website for specific location.
WHEN IS MY FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
You will make your payment of $50 per camper upon the day of Registration. Simply bring cash or a check made payable
to Fellowship of Christian Athletes
WHAT OTHER FORMS WILL I NEED TO BRING?
The only other form that we will require will be a Student Permission Waiver Form. Each student will need to have this
information completed in order to participate in camp. You are welcome to fill it out upon arrival or print and fill out
that form before arrival. It can be found under the FORMS tab on our website.
WHAT TYPES OF CLOTHES SHOULD I BRING?
Each day will be filled with both inspiration and perspiration. We would encourage students to probably have two sets of
clothes for each day. We recommend athletic clothes and shoes for the day and something comfortable for the evening.
There is no required dress code, but some students prefer dress casual for our dinner meal and evening assembly.
WHERE WILL I BE STAYING DURING CAMP?
Final dorm assignments will be handled the week of camp. However, there will be two dorms designated exclusively for
men and one exclusively for women. These dorms will be centrally located to our Camp activities.
WILL SHEETS AND TOWELS BE PROVIDED?
No. You will need to bring twin sized sheet sets and comforter along with any other linens such as towels and washcloths.
You will also be responsible for any other personal toiletries that you may require (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, etc.)
DO I NEED TO BRING EXTRA MONEY?
No extra money will be required during your stay. However, many students like to purchase extra gear or perhaps order
a late night pizza during their stay. We would not recommend bringing any more that $20-30 max.
WILL THERE BE A SAFE PLACE TO STORE MY VALUABLES?
Although you will have a secure room which may be locked at your convenience, we HIGHLY recommend that you not
bring valuables to camp as we will not be responsible for anything lost, damaged or stolen.
WILL I HAVE A CHANCE TO CALL HOME DURING THE WEEKEND?
Of course! In fact, we encourage it. Please take some time to communicate to your parents or guardians about the
wonderful time you are having and things you are learning as you share this experience.
SO I CAN USE MY PHONE WHENEVER I WANT?
Although we encourage you to contact parents and keep them updated, we would also encourage you to limit your phone
usage to ONLY them. When you have a chance to separate yourself for a couple of days and focus on what God is
speaking to you, many times our communication devices have a tendency of getting in the way. We encourage you to take
pictures as well, just do not allow your device to become a distraction.
CAN MY PARENTS OR HUDDLE COACH COME TO VISIT?
Yes! We are an open door ministry and certainly welcome any parent or FCA Huddle Coach who would like to observe
our ministry and camp. We simply ask that they first get in touch with one of the Camp Directors and fill out an Adult
Permission Waiver Form while present on campus.
